REPLACEMENT
Getting replacement windows or doors can be a vague statement. There are multiple ways to have your product replaced. Full frame replacement is where the entire unit will be extracted. A new custom window or door will be made to fit the existing opening. Another form of replacement is having the existing frame of the window or door stay intact while installing either a new door slab or new window sashes. The deciding factor sometimes is determined by the preexisting conditions of the frames.
NEW CONSTRUCTION
New construction installation occurs during an addition or during the building process. When installing new construction, windows & doors are typically installed using an exterior nail fin. This allows the product to be installed to the structure. It also allows for proper flashing to be applied.
